Year 2024. More and more people around the world are losing their lives to supernatural beings. New Orleans is one of the cities where attacks recur almost every night forcing the governor of Louisiana to seek help from one of the best hunter groups known as HYBE.
Y/n Blair, a student in the Anthropology Department, is dragged into the world of darkness after one of the hunters, Yeonjun, rescues her from the hands of a furious werewolf. Yeonjun quickly realizes he has met his soulmate and starts seeing Y/n, but when he finally decided to tell her the truth instead of her, in her house he meets his mortal enemy. Yeosang informs him that he turned Y/n into a vampire, thus taking revenge on him for what happened in the past.
Will love prove to be stronger than hate and is it worth breaking all the rules for? Can a hunter be with a beast he should kill? And would Y/n really choose Yeonjun, since he is not the only man who wants to win her heart?
