"As I swung my sword at an orc with all my remaining strength, I saw an arrow fly by me. It was heading toward Frodo. And he looked completely oblivious. The arrow lowered to shoulder level in the air, and I felt like what happened next was in slow motion. The arrow stuck right below Frodo's shoulder."

After having the same tragic dream of Frodo dying in a war again, Felicity knows that something is wrong. Something not of her world. Of Frodo's world, Middle-Earth.
After meeting Frodo, Felicity's life completely changed. She never spent a day without thinking of him. But now that something is obviously wrong in the Shire, she has to go and face the problem head on. She later figures out of the near danger, and tries everything she can to stop it. But when she fails, she knows that her and Frodo's life will never be the same.

Author's Note: Make sure you have read the first short story in the trilogy, Fireflies, before you read this one! Thank you and enjoy the second short story! (I will be making the last book soon)

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
