NYU medical student Kitty Stark returns home to her small town of Jade Aisle, Florida for her summer break for one last big summer with her family and friends before her final year of college and starting her residency. Getting home is like taking a breath of fresh air, until Bucky Barnes, her dad's enemy and "uncle's" best friend is there to help welcome her home and move her in. Bucky is the kind of guy that never fails to get under her skin without fail... and to her displeasure, Bucky has been her long time next door neighbor.
This is an AU standalone set in the 1990s in a fictional town.
