When a mysterious asteroid shatters in Earth's atmosphere, it rains down an alien virus that rewrites the rules of reality, unlocking psionic powers in random people across the world. Ordinary lives are overturned overnight as telekinesis, mind-reading, and abilities beyond comprehension become both gifts and curses. Governments rush to control these powers, twisted cults rise to worship them, and ordinary society begins to fracture.

Red, a jaded retail worker, tries to keep his head down even as his own mind-reading abilities awaken. But his quiet life is shattered when he discovers a twisted ritual in the woods near his home-and realizes that humanity's newfound powers have awakened ancient, malevolent forces that hunger for chaos. Amidst all of this, he crosses paths with Jinx, a cunning and mischievous goblin girl with a murky past and sharp survival instincts, who's determined to make her way in this strange new world no matter the cost.

As the two of them navigate a world turned hostile, Red and Jinx find themselves hunted by shadowy government agents, ensnared by cultists with their own dark designs, and haunted by monstrous entities born from psionic nightmares. With society unraveling and an unseen war brewing between powerful factions, Red and Jinx have only one choice: to become stronger, fight back, and protect themselves and each other-before they're consumed by the forces they've unleashed.
