Izuku had to leave Japan after his mother dead to go live with his father hisashi Midoriya, his sister nori Midoriya, and his step brother tomura Midoriya. When he left he wasn't able to say goodbye to katsuki and he always felt terrible for it but after hisashi got Izuku to come into the mafia Izuku was soon able to see katsuki again.
