Escaping an abusive ex husband, Stormie buys a farmhouse in the Tennessee mountains unaware of the edgy caretaker that comes with the land.
Leland is ex-military and rough around the edges. He takes on the job of groundskeeper to a secluded property, looking to escape society.
Both seeking a fresh start in life, they both harbor dark secrets that could threaten to tear their worlds apart. Apart, they are nothing but rain clouds, but together they are a storm.
