After losing her son, young Robin Darcy ends her life to be with him. But when she wakes up in another person's body, she attempts to take her life again. But it's impossible. However, every midnight, she dies again and wakes up in a new body five years in the future. Doomed to live and doomed die, Robin finds herself on a quest for death. Her only comfort is Gideon, a man who has an uncanny resemblance to her late son.
