Hurting Inside

Calista Davis has a complicated home life, being one of four siblings is not all it seems to be. She has her perfect first born sister, Anna, a snobbish second born sister, Alisha, and her only brother- the bastard son of the family- Elias Monet. The others won't admit it but they all hated Elias, but Calista knew what the family would mutter about him behind his back, saying that he destroyed two marriages for the price of his life. She also knew what they muttered about her, the poor little basket-case that her parents used as an excuse to try to salvage their marriage, only for their mother to leave her children anyway.

Her father couldn't stand to be in their home town any more and took his kids with him, uprooting the small family of five to a small town called Darkwell.

Calista struggles to find her place in Darkwell as does her brother, Elias, but they find the most unlikely of friends in two rival friend groups. Although, Darkwell has its secrets, and so does everyone in it.
