Carter the Crutch lives in a small town. He's 14 years old, and is the most hated kid in town. Not because of anything he did. In fact, nobody really knows why they hate him. Even his parents don't pay attention to him. This hatred goes to the extent to where Carter believes a magical god created him purely for torture! Silly, right? Living is Lying is inspired by my experience with faith. Please note I am not trying to make fun and/or mock anyone's religion or faith. The rest of this author's note is purely based on how I felt before writing this. During a small period of my life, I had felt so misunderstood and upset with everything in my life, that I question my faith itself. I felt as if I was here to he made fun.
