The Sin of the Tainted

Michael Valentine's life is hard. Barely scraping by even with his life of crime to support him and his mother in Reapers' hill, one of the largest towns on the edge of the bayou where hunters go and collect bounties by eliminating the cursed monsters that plague the lands.
One day however, Michael is scouted to become a hunter by his own half-brother in an offer that seems too good to be true. Now thrust into an unfamiliar and dangerous world, Michael starts to make enemies of very powerful people and uncover a truth that puts him and everyone he cares about in danger.
