Was burning like a silver flame,

Her weapon were her crystal eyes

Black as a dark night she was,
Got what no one else had. 
And Venus was her name.' 

Venus Callisto's odd and unusual name basically described  her. Venus, meaning goddess of beauty, Callisto, meaning sweet, kind and most beautiful. Though, nothing about her, to her or anyone else in the town River Peak; Which was in the middle of nowhere; thought she was inhuman. 

Well that is, until she is kidnapped and finds herself in Texas, a place fulled of different mythical beings. Including a few gods. ;)
