"Hey, bud, have you ever tried to shapeshift into your monkey form without the power behind it?"
"Huh? Whatcha mean by that?"
"I'm saying that you can probably shapeshift into your little monkey form and not have to fear destroying the mountain again!" Wukong bit into a peach with his characteristic cheeky smirk as he did. "You'll be able to get comfortable using it, so that in the future, if you ever need it, you'll have more control than ever before!"
"I... never thought of that. I guess I can try it!"
"Haha, yeah! I'm gonna have sooooo much fun teaching you stuff!" The Monkey King laughed, his tail gripped a branch as he let himself fall and hung upside down, as if showing what MK may be able to do someday.
And so, MK set off to try just that. It was a short conversation, but one that would change how he would see himself from then on.
Who would've guessed being a monkey was so fun?

[ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn. Watched 'Amnesia Rules' and one thing lead to another! I adored Sun Wukong's mannerisms and enthusiasm in this episode and I thought, 'hey why not make a lil fanfic based around a young Wukong in his Journey to the West?' so here we are dear readers. Red Sakura Tree Au: Lego Monkie Kid A long time ago there was a red Sakura tree planted on Flower Fruit Mountain said to hold the love story of a king and a warrior. The two loves planted this tree in hope it would stay as strong as their love for each other, but with one left leaving the other wondering if they weren't good enough for the other. Over time the red Sakura tree started to wither away bringing a sickness to the mountain. Soon the king chose a successor, but what he didn't know is that a young she-monkey demon was taking care of it. She visited the mountain once and while, but the king wasn't really close; they had only known each other for two to five years at this point, but she had this aura around her that sent a chill down his spine. The sickness started to pass faster than ever after a fight with the old lovers. Though she tried her best she-monkey demon couldn't keep it under control and soon the whole island had started to wither away and worse it was spreading to the cities. Now she must find a cure to this sickness before it's too late what friends she will make along the way and what her future holds.
