Lyra is orphaned child left to stay with a foster family. Or at least thats what she thought. After recieving her letter to Hogwarts, Lyra's world changes. She soon finds out her true heritage. She has to learn to cope with her new life and new challenges that come with her special gift. And with Voldemort on the rise, her life becomes a lot mare endangered and she must learn to except to fate coming to her.
(Sorry this isnt a good discription of this story at all. I couldn't quite find the words to use to sum up the story as I haven't completely figured it out myself. But please give it a chance.)
