Long time no see chat, been busy with struggling mentally, but recently got a bit better.
I was doing some rp on Janitor.Ai (totally recommend), and ended finding a bot of Dogday but Sheriff, I've been having lots of fun with them so why not make a story about that au? So uhh... Here I present the new au (already created by someone but I don't know them nor the artist) but really wanted to create my own story with that idea so here we go!
Dogday is the sheriff, he has been taking care of his town for around 4-5 years straight. Recently a new face appeared, a purple cat to be exact, he started making mischief all over the town, Dogday was a bit pissed at why the cat kept doing these things, eventually getting his name from a few other people.
Catnap, that purple cat, had it's own reasons, he also seems to be adored by the children of the town, taking care of them and running away as soon as the pup saw him nearby.
We'll go through a series of events!
1- the beginning
2- the start of catching feelings
3- a bit of lore but still nice
4- lots of interaction with the two and other characters

Dogday x GN reader you were a worker, specifically you watched the orphans meaning you didn't have much insight as to what happened within the walls of your workplace. after getting a job oppurtunity you leave your job luckily before the "hour of joy" takes place (you dont know this had happened). seeing that your old workplace had been abandoned you check it out once more maybe you'll find something? whatever you were hoping for in this journy it isn't what you had expected. ----- story will start with chapter 3 opening!! past chapters had already been events in the story. dogday was also a worker before being turned into a toy (an event you didnt know about also) to help out with kids. you remeber him and the other Smilying Critters when they came to help with children.(this is how you'll remeber dogday). ----- Dogday is an adult in this book as for the theories he was once an employee and for his voice in the game being one of an adult male: IF later on in the PPT franchise its revealed dogday is indeed a child i will take this book down and NEVER mention it again. I do not want to be apart of any minor x adult bull so...yea. player saves dogday and continues a journy with a new ally. A Puppy's Dream Shield
When ''The Smiling Critters'' got added into playcare, there were only seven of them: Hoppy Hopscotch, Kickin Chickin, Crafty Corn, Bobby Bearhug, Bubba Bubbaphant, Picky Piggy, and DogDay. Before they got added into Playcare, they went through a series of tests to check if they really got what it takes to take care of children in an orphanage. After a few weeks of getting used to eachother, they heard the intercom turn on with a man behind it telling everyone that the ''Smiling Critters'' was a HUGE success, and that they have an announcement to make to all of them. ...And what they heard shocked them all... So with the two new scents of Lavender and Valerian. Will they all get along? ''They should not have any memory of the procedure, but everything before that is still intact'' ''But we must forge onwards in the name of science'' ''Weather those who are beneath us understand it or not, END OF-'' I don't own any characters mentioned in this story except for my own oc just to make that clear. After the departure of the three siblings, the Smiling Critters find themselves involved in a dangerous adventure outside of PlayCare; threatened by the Rejected Critters, who seem to want to finish them off and take over the leadership of the group. Despite the plans, something seems to be wrong with the Smiling Critters; The group is greatly weakened and they do not seem to understand each other. Different problems are making their bonds weaker, almost breaking apart. Will they put their grudges aside and end up defeating the Rejected Critters? Or one misstep may lead to their downfall? That was... a century ago, give or take a few years. Today, after the rebuilding of Playtime Co., you find yourself working at the dastard establishment itself (involuntarily at that). To this day, there are still a rise of missing person cases, from what? We don't know. From who? We also don't know... All we know is that it serves nothing other than to mar the company's reputation and credibility. But wait, who's that you see in Playcare...? Until one day, where a mob family whose heads are the Long Legs, scouts and recruits him to be the muscle of a whorehouse, where he meets a purple feline named Catnap who is their most valued worker. The Smiling critters consist of: DogDay (Dog) (Wears a sun pendant)- Strong and Determined CatNap (Cat) (Wears a crescant moon pendant)- Calm and loves to sleep! Bubba Bubbaphant (Elaphant) (Wears a lightbulb pendant)-Bright and Brainy! Bobby BearHug (Bear) (Wears a heart pendant)-Caring and Compassionate! Crafty Corn (Unicorn) (Wears a rainbow flower pendant)-Artistic and creative! Picky Piggy (Pig) (Wears an apple pendant)- Loves food and nutrition! Hoppy Hopscotch (Rabbit) (Wears a lightning bolt pendant)-Energetic and sometimes impatient! Kickin Chicken (Chicken) (Wears a star pendant)-Cool and confident! This series will have the critters going on adventures, playing games, learning lessons, and living their everyday lives. There even may be a potential romance! I want everyone to know that this series is not relevant to the lore of Poppy Playtime it's fanfiction. I know in the original lore they were children who were made into toys. There has only been 7 smiling critters in the neighborhood: DogDay the self imposed leader. Bubba Bubbaphant the genius. Kicken Chicken the Daredevil. Hoppy Hopscotch the second Daredevil. CraftyCorn the artist. PickyPiggy the chef. Bobby Bearhug the therapist. There has always been 3 boys and 4 girls. They always easily outvote the boys whenever they want to do something different. One day a construction crew appears in the neighborhood and builds a new house that resembles a scratching post for a cat. Then a moving truck comes and puts boxes in the home. It's been 3 weeks and no sign of the new addition to the neighborhood. Everyone is getting impatient especially DogDay.
