Corruption.
What comes to mind when you hear that?
This is a story about a world on the brink of an apocalypse. Not a zombie or nuclear fallout type of apocalypse, one that was made by the corrupt action of the people that live in it. It started with riots, they continued through the day and through the night until the military stepped in. They rained down chaos on the rioters and prompted a civil war. Now all that is left of the bustling city is broken dreams and promises.
[Name] was a student at the Academy to become a great fighter and leader like her father before her, who is a top military general for Midgar. On the day the military fought back she lost everything just like many other people. What seems like betrayal from an old friend leads to a much more complex problem. Now she wants to face the corruption head on and make them pay for the pain they have caused so many people, even if it means hurting the people she loves.
