Book #1 of the Divine Artifacts Series While Aria had thought many times about what the first meeting with her soulmate would be like, never in a million years was being suspended in the air, upside-down, by a chain, in any of her musings. Regardless, shit happens, and she had been convinced that her distorted view of the musty basement was the last thing she was going to see. The hunters were minutes away from injecting a lethal amount of wolfsbane into Aria's system, so she knew there as nothing left that she could do to save herself. Aria didn't expect her hero to come tumbling down the dirty staircase with a spiteful curse as a visual support cane followed closely behind. She didn't expect her recognition of her soulmate to come not through eye-contact, but through the embracing smell of pine and bark. She certainly didn't expect to watch a blind werewolf play around with experienced hunters as if he was a teenager amused by a firecracker. Once more, however, shit happens, and she was just going to have to deal with it as it did. The Eve of Darkness by Kmmy G Copyright 2021

Aries: "I rest my elbow on the glass and lean down, looking past the crowds of people. Humans. Werewolves. Even other creatures by the looks of it. It wasn't like they never visited the club before. So why this restlessness? What was it that I was looking for amongst this sea of creatures? I scan the crowd in hopes that my raging heart would eventually calm down when I prove it that there was nothing to be anxious about. But it does the exact opposite. It drums in my ears and deafens me. I could hear nothing else. Just the beat of my dramatical heart. Telling me something. My desperate eyes scans the crowd downstairs, the centre of the dance floor. The bar. The entrance. The-" She's dark. She's deadly. But she is a goddess. Book 3 of Althea series
