[Sequel to He's a She]
Six years had passed since Charlene learned the secrets of the war. Six years since she was betrayed and branded like a steer, but the memories still haunted her. In an attempt to rid herself of the questioning eyes of her peers, Charlie decides to study abroad in Australia. There she meets Aidan, a humble native boy who knows nothing of her past. And for a short while she can escape, that is, until her past comes back to haunt her.
Now, forced back to America, Charlie must face what her father feared most: the people that want to use her for her knowledge. With no one to turn to but her old high school friends, Charlie, Luke and Parker must ban together once more to fight the insurgent horde. Old friends die hard, but new boyfriends die even harder.
When Jane Madarang's neighbor Natalie kills herself and leaves behind cryptic instructions, it's up to Jane and her classmates to unearth deadly secrets.
