"Home" fanfiction follows Lunara Rainheart, a half-elf born to a hobbit mother and an elf from Mirkwood, as she struggles to find her place in a world where she never truly fits. Growing up in the Shire, Lunara faced rejection from the other hobbits, with only Frodo Baggins and the eccentric Bilbo Baggins offering her friendship. After her mother's passing, Frodo invites her to join his perilous journey, offering a chance to find the father she has never met and the home she has always longed for. Along the way, Lunara encounters Legolas Greenleaf, the Mirkwood prince, and discovers unexpected connections, dangers, and hope.


This story follows the events and setting of the Lord of the Rings movies. All characters and the original story setting belong to their rightful creator.
