The Prince of Nightmares

Emma has spent her whole life in fear for when the lord of the estate passes his belongings to his heir. With the heir making it known that once all of his father's belongings were in his possession he would come for her, his newest favorite possession. Emma being born as an indentured servant knew she only had two ways out of servitude, age out or buy out. With the numbers of years left on her contract not being realistically achievable and her pockets too empty to buy her contract she has to use her own wits to stay safe from her new lord. Fighting with everything she has she is determined to keep her purity intact.

The plan Emma has for herself is simple, escape her indenture, marry an acceptably attractive man of decent standing, and live safely until she dies of old age. She knew what she wanted was a lot to ask for but she later realizes it may be impossible when people more powerful than her wants to ruin her plans.
