The Third Sage

Twelve year old Octavia is an intelligent young Hylian girl from a wealthy family who leads a peaceful life on Outset Island with her best friends, Link, and his little sister, Aryll. The three made a name for themselves as the ALO Outset Trio. They did everything together, even going as far as risking their lives to protect one another.

Octavia's life took a devastating turn when Aryll is kidnapped by the Helmaroc King. Octavia goes with Link throughout his adventures, when it's discovered that a beautiful instrument she carries doubles as a powerful weapon. She understands the ancient Hylian tongue, which makes her useful. By working together, the young duo are unstoppable.

However, after Octavia and Link successfully rescue Aryll and awaken the princess and all that good stuff.. she comes to a realization that will drastically impact her way of life.

She is the Hylian Sage Of Sea.

Imagine this: You are a child. An actual CHILD, living your best life. Then, after going through a bunch, your friend comes in front of you and conducts an ancient melody for you to play on a ukulele. That melody overwhelms you, so everything in front of you goes black. Then your great-great-great-great-great grandmother wipes your childhood away and tells you were chosen as a sage, a decision you didn't make, destined to be locked away in the dark and terrifying dungeon bestowing power to the Master Sword.. and never get to do anything besides pray, pray, pray.

For what may be the rest of your life.

Will this pure-hearted child be able to accept her fate and be relieved she can actually do something to help the world? Or will she be completely devastated that she has to make a permanent parting from her home, her neighbors, and family? Or a strange whirlwind of the two?

Valid. I mean.. this child.. was given an instrument, given a job. That she didn't want. How exactly will she react?
