He passed me an order, declaring how my life will be as his mate and when I finally gathered the courage to meet his gaze, I shivered under his wrathful eyes.

Yes, I understood that by accepting his hand, I would lose more than my dignity. I could no longer be alive if I agreed to be the mate of this man-I would surrender my very soul, left behind with only an empty shell. Yet, here I am, declaring my intent in a twisted game of fate-to my wedding ceremony.

"Under the eyes of the Moon Goddess, Kim Taehyung, do you accept Jeon Jungkook as your lawfully wedded spouse and be a loyal mate to him for a lifetime?"

I uttered those two simple words that felt like shackles locking me into a loveless life of torment, sealing my helplessness beneath the cruel grip of his ruthlessness.
