The Choice

Madeline is an ordinary, rich girl living in a world of choices. The choices matter; if you pick the wrong one, nobody really knows what happens to you. When she receives a letter with a choice she can make, she isn't quite sure what she wants to pick. The longer she waits, the more strange stuff starts happening to her.

She meets a new boy in town, and they hit it off successfully, but she still has feelings for her crush, who never gave her a chance until now. She doesn't seem to question it but is confused about who to pick in this love triangle.

When an ex-friend tries to steal both guys from her out of vengeance for the past, it doesn't go as well as they hoped. But is the vengeance worth it? Her best friend tries to keep things in control, but it goes south when she won't do what she's told.

Along with an evil entity watching closely, making sure Madeline chooses the right path but also trying to avoid a powerful family due to previous agreements, things can only be put off for so long, with fate being fate. Things have to go according to plan; nothing can change, even if it means disappearing.

Is staying alive is the only option when the whole world will fall apart at the seams if you want to change it? Is it worth the cost to not follow the rules of what you pick in the end? Once you change your mind, it's too late to make amends with the past. What will you do now?
