Mature
The first time I saw Christa Jane Walker was in my first period math class. She was the most interesting person I've ever laid eyes on. There was something about Christa Jane Walker. Maybe it was her soft skin and brown eyes. I never thought I could be so infatuated with brown eyes until I saw her brown eyes. They weren't just brown eyes, they were brown with specks of copper in the sunlight, and when you looked deep enough into them, they were no longer brown eyes but their own sunset.

"I'm not good for you, Hawk." She'd say as she took in smoke from her cigarette. I scrunched my nose at the smell when she blew it out but laughed anyways.
"No one is." I had replied as she looked up at me and smiled.

Yet for some reason we found that eventually she, someone extraordinary, was capable of loving someone like me, someone completely ordinary.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
