I'm sixteen years old. I used to have a brother. But he's dead. My dad died too. And my mama died in childbirth. I killed her, I guess. That's what my brother always said. I don't care. I never knew her. I've been alone ever since I was twelve. Alone in this world with nothing but my weapons, my desperation to live and my name. My name is Hope. Stupid name if you ask me. Hope doesn't keep you warm at night. Hope doesn't feed you. Hope doesn't kill the walking dead. Hope doesn't save the world. And I gave up doing so a long time ago.

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three.
