The Unity Program? It's, well, supposed to be this ground initiative by The Order, handpicking 'promising' individuals from each sector. They say it's for unity, preparing us to bridge the divides between our sectors, to work together for the 'greater good'. But really, it's shrouded in secrecy. Nobody truly knows why they're chosen or what they're in for. Some say it's just a propaganda exercise. Others think it's a death sentence with fancy branding. Rumor has it they're sending these recruits out beyond the megacities, to do what exactly... no one's sure. But if you ask me, it's less about unity and more about survival. The Order's survival, not ours.
~ an anonymous citizen

~~~
In a world where humanity clings to survival within towering megacities, divided into sectors that dictate every aspect of life, The Order has initiated a mysterious new project: the Unity Program. Sold as a chance to bridge the sectors, the Program promises to shape a generation of leaders prepared to take on the future's most daunting challenges. But for a group of outcasts and criminals chosen from the lowest levels of society, this invitation is anything but an honor. Their true mission lies beyond the safety of the cities, in a barren and hostile wasteland, where the air is toxic and secrets are deadly.
Tasked with salvaging lost technology and facing unknown dangers, the recruits must rely on each other's strengths-or fall prey to their weaknesses. They're about to learn that The Order's promise of unity is little more than a mask for its survival plan. In this world, some lines should never be crossed... but for the Unity Program, every boundary is fair game.
The first book in the "Decimation" Series. An accident at a laboratory occurs, the Elite group called the Power of Powers have no choice but to reveal their secret to the public, Project Tripod, an experiment that was focused on creating the most powerful army of soldiers in the world, uncontested by anything else humanity had ever seen. The lead scientist was killed, and their secret weapon has now broken loose into society, and it's extremely dangerous. Unfortunately for them, they went too far in their pursuit for world domination when they created a hybrid creature that is mixed between the most superior DNA of an animal, greatest advanced robotics, and hyper improved technologically implanted qualities. Their new creation was far too powerful, far too destructive and insanely evil that it could not be controlled. These hybrids unexpectedly developed a conscious will of their own. They have also unprecedently grown their own unique abilities and powers by expanding to their natural habitat, which make them even more destructive. They are hyperintelligent, indestructible, uncontrollable, unbeatable, and unstoppable. Even worse, they want to be the superior species on earth and destroy all humans that stand in their path! Who is behind this and what is their goal? Are the hybrid super soldiers able to be controlled? Will humanity find a way to destroy them? If not, what will become of the world and humanity? In this thrilling science fiction story written by Alexios Salvador, explore the consequences that immoral and uncapped progression of warfare can have on the world. In this book series, humanity has created a weapon that is way too powerful, extremely destructive, and impossible to control, one with its own will and consciousness, a weapon with a deep hatred for humans. A weapon that wants to eat them for dinner and leave no room for dessert. The decimation has begun.
The world ended long ago, riddled with plague and zombies and destruction. But humanity survived, and humanity evolved. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. Seven lineages with three strains each, and each have their own unique set of traits that help us survive. But that's not what this story is about-at least, not really. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right? Disclaimer: I do not own Zombies, Run! or its characters, nor do I own Dystopia Rising LARP. This is just my Rookie's reaction to the Dystopia Rising New Adventure in the Zombies, Run! App.
He glances back in forth between my eyes for a moment before taking my cheek in his hand. He brings his lips centimetres from mine. "We can walk through any hell the world throws at us," he whispers finally before presses his lips against mine. ~~~~ After Hailey Arrette Kane is found as being a second child to Coralie Kane, she is forced into the Skybox per her sister's request. Her sister, Arlo Riv Kane, managed to convince her dad and the council that she needed to die in Hailey's place, allowing Hailey to live just as long as she did but in the Skybox. After her 21st birthday, which marked her fourth year in the Skybox, the council made a decision. They were going to send 100 delinquents to the ground as an experiment to see whether the level of radiation was survivable or not. In doing so, they managed to sentence almost all of them to an untimely death that was almost inevitable. With the idea of freedom, Hailey knows that she is never safe and that if weaknesses are shown, someone will use them against her. Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect. A strange-looking contraption is seen rapidly falling from the sky. Its descent was calculated and precise...until it wasn't. Halfway after entering the green and blue planet's atmosphere, it started burning up, rendering some of its parts unusable. Inside this burning contraption are a bunch of...kids. These kids numbered a hundred, have ages ranging from 12 to 17. And as for why they are all strapped inside this burning 90-year-old dropship heading to the ground...Well, it all started at the end. Ninety-seven years ago, a nuclear apocalypse struck the Earth, leaving the planet simmering in radiation. But of course, the human race was a stubborn one. At the time of the bombs, twelve nations had operational space stations that they used to house survivors. Later, these twelve stations banded up and merged, becoming the one we now know as The Ark. For many years now, The Ark has kept what's left of humanity alive. But about a year ago, an engineer discovered a huge problem in the Ark's system. The Ark's life support systems are failing, and it won't be long before they run out of air and die. Hence, the current situation. These kids are being sent on a desperate mission to see if the ground is survivable again. But why kids though? Won't it be better to have the more capable scientists or guards be the ones to take this risk? The council had a lot of reasons, but the main one being: these kids were expendable, after all, they are criminals. --- This is a The 100 Fanfiction. The MC is a reincarnator. Yeah, I know. It might as well be a self-insert fic at just how much I relate my MCs to myself. Anyway... This story has been picking up dust in the corner of my WIPs. It's time to let it see the light of day. It's been so long since I started this fic, hence I will have to revisit the deepest part of my head to remember how I wanted this story to go in the first place. Updates will be few and inconsistent. 43àd à5 6974 92ñ 48ßk.
Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. (This is not based on The 100 but there are similarities.) (Some violent themes, but other than that is entirely clean.) Please comment if you have any questions or concerns. This is a first draft so it is definitely not perfect yet.. Thank you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Where'd you learn to do that?" I asked about the intricate knots that he had tied so swiftly. He paused. "Jail." I glared at him in shock at what had just come out of his mouth. "Seriously?" His straight face broke into a grin. "No. Boy Scouts."
O Negative
8 parts Ongoing Mature
Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
