Halo: Reposed Judgment

In December of 2559, the UNSC Infinity arrives at Installation 07 with their plan of using a Cortana clone to trap and neutralize her following her actions against humanity with the created. A Hail Mary of a plan by any standards, this is the story of the Top Secret ONI team assigned the even bigger Hail Mary of a back-up plan. Following the unearthing of reports created by Catherine Halsey, a team is created to head down to the ring in search of a Forerunner AI that can use the ring's framework to eliminate Cortana, should blue team fail.
