It didn't come as a surprise that Jake showered at Heeseung's, at least not anymore. All of the boys did, save for Sunoo, who complained about the lack of actual shampoo and conditioner. I agree with him. 2-in-1 is an abomination.
Heeseung opens his mouth to speak again, but as if on cue, a tall form saunters its way out of the bathroom, steam billowing out into the cooler air of the spacious living room.
It is in fact Jake.
And he is so shirtless.
(Or: to appease her pestering roommate, Virginia St. August makes arguably the worst decision of her life: Fake-dating "academic ace" Jake Sim.)

Wicked Games •~•~ SJY 18+
He was her nightmare. Until he became the one she couldn't stop dreaming about. Jake Sim is rich, ruthless, and dangerously charming-the kind of boy your parents warn you about. At Crestview University, he's untouchable. Alongside his equally toxic trio-Heeseung, Jay, and Sunghoon-he parties hard, rides faster, and ruins hearts without a second thought. Y/n? She's the outlier. Quiet, book-smart, and completely uninterested in Jake's ego-or his games. Which makes her his favorite target. He teases her mercilessly. Pulls her close just to push her away. He likes watching her squirm beneath his gaze, flinch at his taunts, falter when he invades her space. But when a moment of weakness turns into a kiss she should've never allowed, everything spirals. Now his teasing feels different-his hands linger, his eyes darken, and his mouth whispers things she can't un-hear. Rough kisses behind locked doors. Late-night rides on his motorcycle. A bedroom no one's supposed to see. Jake wants her-but refuses to admit it. So he touches without meaning to care. And she keeps falling... even when it hurts. Her friends-Jungwon, Sunoo, and Niki-see the warning signs. But it's hard to walk away when the boy you hate is the only one who can make you feel this alive. He's cruel. She's stubborn. But in the dark... they both break. And once the games start, it's only a matter of time before someone gets burned.Complete

Never- not even in his wildest imagination- had Jake thought it was humanly possible to despise someone so intensely after a single meeting. That was, until he met his new boss. Lee. Fucking. Heeseung. As if having the most insufferable man alive as his employer wasn't bad enough, fate decided to make things infinitely worse by ensuring their very first meeting involved a shirtless Heeseung answering the front door... and Jake, much to his everlasting embarrassment, blushing like an idiot at the sight. All he had wanted was a stable job. Not a boss who was equal parts infuriating, shameless flirt, and full time menace to society. Unfortunately, destiny had other plans. What begins as relentless bickering, mutual annoyance, and a rivalry fuelled by wounded egos slowly transforms into an unexpected friendship neither of them saw coming. But just when they're convinced they've found comfort in something purely platonic, fate intervenes once again, turning stolen glances into lingering touches, and reluctant companionship into a love neither of them can outrun.
