In the small town of Beacon Hills, a little girl found a boy her age that shared the same problem as her, one of their parents abused them, physically and mentally. At first, their friendship was a little skeptical, both afraid that they'd get in trouble having a friend and telling them about what really happens behind closed doors. Years pass, and the two friends have grown inseperable. When things become too tough for each other, they run to each other for help, knowing that they are the only person that will understand. Their friendship grew strong, like nothing could ever pull them apart, until the day the little boy's father found out about what they had been doing. Riley Jordan was heartbroken when her best friend, Isaac Lahey, suddenly stopped talking to her. With no explanation of why he didn't want to be around her anymore, Riley started to lose hope. A year passed and Riley had grown this hatred of Isaac. She was pissed that he left her when she needed him most.
