Ever wished to reset your life? Faraja at thirty-seven wishes to do precisely that, so she finds herself leaving Africa to settle in Shanghai. Why Shanghai, you might ask? Simply because she's a C-drama fan who is in love with Shengli, a Chinese C- drama actor. And Shanghai doesn't disappoint her; her crush is present on every billboard.
Amidst the cultural differences, fun moments and stressful ones too, she develops a little bit of a crush on a co-worker, Dawei, who is very popular amongst the ladies which leads to an interesting twist and turn which has the potential to change her life forever.
