Jonathan Good always wanted to be a cop since he was young. He wanted to be able to protect his friends, family and his community.
River hated her brother's job. He was normally late or coming back with a new injury and it infuriated her, but she couldn't really complain if it meant she got to see officer Good. He was strong, handsome and funny, everything she had always looked for in a partner.
The two become best friends and develop feelings for each other over time. One day while Jonathan is on duty, they get a call over the scanner that changes everything.

"Tell me what you want, Si." I grab his chin, forcing him to look up at me. His brown eyes quickly lock onto mine. "Fuck me, Vera." --- Vera was a cop. She always had a desire for being one ever since her father was one. Her and her best friend had to join a college to get intel but little did Vera know, this wouldn't turn out like she hoped. It ruined her. Simon meant more than a pawn in her game. She had him wrapped around her finger and would do anything and everything for him. Even if it killed her.
Love or Lust?
Shanté: You were in her room, Jonathan! Jonathan: Ok, ok, I understand that but- Shanté: No, just shut up, ok! You hurt me. Badly. And- Jonathan: You hurt me too, Shanté. He tears up which causes me to tear up. I let my tears run down my face & he continues to fight his tears but there's one that's at the literal edge of his eye waiting to be free Jonathan: ...but we're in love. The tear that was on the edge of his eye finally drops & another falls out the other.
