Brook Thread was eight when her mother died and she was ripped from her home in district four to live with her father, Romulus Thread in district two.
She never wanted to go to the academy and train for the hunger games, but it was better than being at home and her father never gave her a choice about it.
She met Clove Kentwell on her first day of training and they quickly became best friends. But when reaping day comes the odds certainly do not seem to be in their favor...
