Adventurers For Money

The world of Mikuki started with a dragon called Ryuta giving a chunk of his body for citizens to inhabit. From there on three kingdoms called the Bellum Kingdom, the Yurei Kitsune kingdom, and the Alcara Kingdom rose into power each detailing their folklore creatures in their holy scriptures. For years these kingdoms would fight over land until creatures had come that bore a striking resemblance to creatures that were detailed in their scriptures. These foul creatures with harmful intentions had sprung up in the coldest mountainous regions, the hottest of deserts, and the bare grasslands leaving death in their wake. On their own these kingdoms tried to defeat these beasts with their spears, swords, bows, and crossbows but they kept appearing. With the knowledge that they could not eradicate them for good the kingdoms set up guilds all around Mikuki to hire adventurers to fend these beasts off. Fending these creatures off paid well a little too well as it became the most sought-after job but a group of adventurers might shake this coveted job.

(I wrote this over the summer and if anyone from that class reads this, no you do not know who I am. this is about the power of friendship!!!!!lol also just to mention all of the characters are adults, the youngest, Seko, is 18 but is treated like a kid)
