A young princess, Sage, is about to get married to the man her parents chose for her, when the kingdom gets attacked, forcing her and her servant/close friend, Ember, out of the town. They end up at the next town over, and ask the prince of that town how they can stay, and Sage gets roped into another marriage with a man she truly doesn't know.
