Echo's Curse

In a town gripped by fear, a strict protocol and curfew are enforced to keep its residents safe from mysterious, deadly creatures that lurk in the dark. No one knows where these creatures came from, only that they kill indiscriminately, leaving only strange, crystalline fractals in their wake. Despite the danger, a rebellious teenager named Echo and her small group of friends decide to defy the rules one night, sneaking out to an abandoned spot on the outskirts of town.

Their thrill quickly turns to horror when a creature descends upon them, killing several of Echo's friends in a blur of violence. Echo soon realizes that the creature's blood has cursed her: anything she touches now fades into fractals and is gone forever. Left with a dangerous new power, she must learn to control her curse-or risk destroying everything and everyone she loves. Haunted by guilt and the loss of her friends, Echo sets out to uncover the origin of the creatures and find a way to reverse her deadly touch, even if it means facing the monsters again alone.
