When Sounimo, a Ghost-type enthusiast and Ryme's protege, makes contact with a Mewtwo, he unknowingly switches souls with the World Champion, a Trainer out of their league. However, the worst problem is that he cannot find Bass, his Basculegion and loyal companion, as well as his best friend, Kieran. However, when he learns that his (former) school, the Blueberry Academy was hosting a competition using their best Trainers, he strives to join the fight and become the Academy's first Champion.
