Written in your perspective.. If you've read of seen The Hobbit the start follows a similar story line.
You are an elf from Rivendel and you are lord Elrond's daughter. You were told by Gandalf to travel to The Shire to become part of Thorin Oakenshield's company.
Your further quest involves you traveling with the group of dwarves and the young hobbit, Bilbo from The Shire, to reclaim the dwarves homeland.
You would not do this alone.
Your sister Eirien would accompany you on this dangerous jorney.
The reason Gandalf asked you is unknown, but we shall soon find out later in our quest.
A little bit about me
I LOVE The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings and I have looked up to JRR Tolkien since I was old enough to be able to read.
Please do not judge me on my writing, because I am only young and my spelling,grammar, punctuation and over all layout of this story is not going to be perfect.

An Unexpected Member
You've heard the story of the 13 Dwarfs, the wizard and the Hobbit right? Well they left out one thing, the Unexpected Member of the Company. I was there for it all, from the Shire to Rivendale to Mirkwood and then The Lonely Mountain. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain. you where Grand-Daughter to Galadriel and Celeborn, and Niece to Elrond. your father was never mentioned to you when you where young but father was the second son to Galadriel and Celeborn. Your father had left after you where born since he had a child with a human but your mother died when giving birth to you as he took you and left you in Lothlórien, you lived with Galadriel and Celeborn when he left learning various skills of fighting and some of the common tongue but it wasn't your strong point. you wanted to see the world as you where packing your things in your chambers strapping your belt on that had your sword and daggers in a X shape at the back, you dressed in gear that would do for travelling and fighting, you wore the tall knee high boots and hidden daggers in them, and put the arrow holder once your shoulder then wore your dark cloak that was elven made so it protect you. Ever since you where little and your father left, you wanted to explore the world. You then left leaving a note on your bed to tell them before leaving Lothlórien behind.Complete
I Will Always Come Back
"I will stay safe. I promise," I said, pulling back and looking her in the eyes. They were red and puffy from crying, and her face was tearstained. I dried her tears, and her sobbing slowed to a stop. She took a shuddering breath and hugged me tightly. "You promise?" Míreth said quietly. "I promise," I whispered back. I held her tightly. "When I come back, we can live a happy, normal life together. I will come back. Alright?" I hoped the word together would hit a nerve. I did. Míreth pulled back, new tears of hope in her eyes. When they started spilling down her face, I dried them quickly with my shirtsleeve. ~*~*~*~ I do not own any of the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit characters. I only own Míreth and the characters I made up. ~*~*~*~ I changed the cover and title. I thought this would be a bit more related to the story. Caladhiel had been born in the Northern Mountains of Middle Earth. She'd always been hot headed, passionate and brave. Her father was the leader of their clan and they were the elves that protected the North. On a faithful battle her home was destroyed by the Orcs and she was the only surviver of her clan. She was found by Galadriel, almost dying and she took her under her care and protection. Caladhiel was moved to Rivendell and was put under Elrond's care, he taught her how to behave in court, how to address herself to nobles and most important of all how to be a proper lady suitable for marriage. Causing far too much trouble for Elrond in Rivendell the young elven princess of the North is moved to Mirkwood in order to be taught how to behave and leave her warrior ways behind. Caladhiel hates being told what to do but as soon as her eyes catch the Elven King's her world is about to be turned upside down.Complete

A Hobbit's Tale-An Unexpected Friendship.

The Hobbit is my favorite, Bilbo Baggins is my favorite along with the the three Durins. Since Legolas was in the both trilogies he was sort of my first crush. Aragorn my favorite too. Any way this story will my own view of how I would go along on this adventure etc. with Thorin Oakenshield as my love interest, being friends with everyone, a good friend & a brave fighter.
