It has been 5 years since the battle of New York and life for the avengers is getting back to normal, until Thor re-appears on Earth desperately seeking help for his brother.
Near death from years of torture and thoroughly broken, Loki can barely remember who he is. Nobody recognizes him as the man who attacked New York, nobody really knows what to do.
In a desperate attempt to fix Loki and save him, Thor leaves him in the capable hands of Tony Stark, who, having just broken up with Pepper, is really not the best person for the job.
Can Tony fix Loki? Or is the god too damaged to ever be okay again.

The cold water dripped inside on my cell, as the droplets hit my bare back, I could only shudder from the feel. I knew he would be back any given minute.
