Katilyn Foster, also known as Katie, is an average young adult on her way to start college.

Her life was going great as planned but everything started to change when she was told she was an alien slayer.
After the aftershocks, the kicking, screaming and complaining, she finally accepted the truth, and soon things started to look bright for her in the future but soon enough her world comes tumbling down when she falls head over heels for her attractive fellow combat team member but he only wants to remain in the friend zone. No matter how hard she tries to gain his attention, he ignores her and insists that there will never be a ''them'' but she keep trying.
But Chase is the least of her problems. With a near apocalypse, and the monsters still breathing down her neck, she has a choice to make:
