**Disclaimer**
This writing is inspired by The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. Its letter format and introspective style pay tribute to the storytelling in that novel. While the characters and stories here are original, the emotional depth and themes of adolescence, identity, and relationships reflect Chbosky's influence.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower has touched many readers, and I hope this work resonates with you in a similar way, inviting you to connect, feel vulnerable, and grow. Thanks for joining me on this journey-may you find echoes of your own experiences in these letters.

I prefer to live through the romance stories I weave and post online. Hardly anyone reads my books, even if they're free, but I do have one fan, and he's supported me since I started writing two years ago. Except, my writing started to take a depressing dive when I realized that you simply couldn't prevent nor protect your heart from falling for someone. For him. For the one who had no interest in me. When I fell in love with him, I thought we had a chance. It was an accident. Turned out, I couldn't be more wrong. He doesn't want me, and I wasn't supposed to have him. It didn't matter if he showed up in the bookstore every day, talking to everyone else except me. Nor did it matter at all because he didn't know sign language. He couldn't learn. We couldn't communicate. But after I go on a date and it ends in putrid disaster, he makes his appearance known, and he's angry. Then he's doing things for me that confuse me. My stories are filling up with pages of content, dreams that I want to come true, and my mystery commenter encourages me to continue-to reach my happiness. To take what I want. But the activities planned start sparking familiarity-like I lived it before, or maybe dreamed it. Or maybe, just maybe, I'd written it before? My mind is spiraling, but I can't stop myself from getting closer and closer to him. I'm not supposed to have him, but my heart craves him. Sage Monroe, I'm in love with you, and I'm scared now because I have a feeling that you've been communicating with me in more ways than one.

And are ghosts... real? Twenty-two-year-olds Arielle Daniels and Stella Sullivan go on an east-coast ghost-hunting tour to honor their recently deceased best friend, Jade, whose death remains a mystery. Only her parents know the circumstances, and they refuse to tell anyone. Stella wants to pay her respects by following Jade's bucket-list; but Arielle wants real, palpable answers. What happens after death? Why has she lost so many loved ones? And how exactly did Jade die? In the midst of their journey, Arielle realizes she might have been in love with Jade, but now... she has no way to be sure, and no idea how to reveal this to Stella--or anyone else, for that matter. As they travel, the girls discover more about themselves than they anticipated, both forced to come to terms with their emotions; Arielle to accept her bisexuality, and Stella to acknowledge her heritage as the descendant of a long line of psychic mediums. But the trip takes on an eerie tone when they get more than they bargained for, and swallow up more occult knowledge than either ever expected to find in their lifetimes. • WARNING: this book is rated MATURE for handling triggering, sensitive issues. Safe and Sound: The Short Memoir by StorytellProjects
4 parts Complete Mature
Safe and Sound: The Short Memoir written by Elliot Parker. I've always written stories and music about my personal life. It was the only thing that would heal my scars and wounds. However, there was always a hidden layer of truth that I tried to shield from everyone in order to protect myself. Everything I write tends to be about my thoughts, feelings and emotions but in a way that I could keep them private. This essentially led me to bottle it all up and throw it far into the water. And then I was pulled underwater where I was going to have to face every part of my brain and heart in order to swim through the storm I became trapped in. This story was written about my life in ways I've never explored with writing. It was excruciating to look at my deepest insecurities, the feelings for a boy who never loved me back, and the most traumatic events I've had to experience, in the eyes. Writing a memoir that was originally for an assignment, turned into something more for me. It allowed me to revisit the past and try to explain them in my words, instead of rumors being spread faster than a forest fire. Sometimes you don't know you're hurting until you're being forced to sit in a locked room with your past. Realizing just how much pain and suffering I am still going through was tough, but it opened my eyes and allowed me to release the words I've been holding hostage for months. These four chapters were written about moments in my life that I've never shared with anyone before. I'm ready to tell my story. CHAPTERS: Chapter 1: Red Autumn Chapter 2: Heartbreak Boy Chapter 3: The Void Chapter 4: Eyes Open
