24 parts Ongoing MatureRaven tried ignoring him, he made fun of her even more. When she fought back their friends had to break them up by proposing a freaking keg- the worst decision ever made. Now they're stuck in this situation now being able to look at each other, otherwise it would be World War III.
She set aside her pride for the sake of the group and at least get some insight as to why JJ hates her. They were in the same room, so maybe there was something in him that wanted to do the same.
"I shouldn't have invited them, knowing all of you hated them. I guess it was just stupid and naive to think people didn't care about the status here," she whispered with a sore throat from yelling.
He snapped his head and marched up to her standing face to face, inches apart, but on different pages. He looked stressed and still pissed with his messy hair hanging to the side.
"Look around Raven. Look where we live and now look at where you live. Do you see a difference because I do? The whole damn town does and it's why they treat us differently, like we're dirt." His veins were popping out of the side and he wasn't finished. "...like we're nothing and all you had to do was keep a low profile at the party."
If Raven was going to put her pride in the backseat, he had to at least meet her half way, but he refused. In his mind she was the bad luck, the horrid memory of what happened and what he had lost. JJ hated the reminder every time he took a seat on the Pogue and going to work at her aunt's hotel.
