In ancient times, there was a sea nymph named Alyke, her beauty as captivating as moonlit waters. Her silver hair shimmered like waves, and her deep blue eyes held the cool glow of the ocean's depths. She lived within a hidden cove, where cliffs of iridescent shells overlooked sapphire seas, and coral gardens carpeted the seafloor like underwater meadows.

Alyke was the guardian of ocean mysteries, a protector of its secrets and creatures. She wove seaweed into kelp forests to shelter the young and commanded gentle currents to cradle schools of fish. Dolphins, sea turtles, and even mermaids respected her, for Alyke's heart was as vast as the sea. But a solitary curse bound her: the more she helped others, the less they could see her.
