Everyone's heard of alternate dimensions. Everyone has their own idea of what one should be like, right? Don't lie. When I tell you 'picture an alternate dimension,' you have some kind of an image in your head. That, or you've been living under a rock your entire life.

Well, forget those images. Because Actacea is not your average, everyday, run-of-the-mill alternate dimension.

Actacea could be called Earth's guardian angel, if you think of guardian angels as black, violent, alcoholic thugs who would beat you senseless for a few cents. Maybe at one point, Actacea was supposed to be the better dimension of the two, and protect Earth from harm. But when the same kind of people inhabit both worlds, what's the best you can expect?

Actacea isn't exactly the kind of world you want being your guardian. But hey, at least it has magic. Which is more than Earth can say, right?
