It took a few moments for her to register what he meant.
"I... I-I'm sorry sir, but I haven't any money. Much less a ticket." The shameful words fell from her frozen lips before she could think to stop them.

The conductor's hazel eyes softened behind his glasses, but he couldn't stop his lip from curling up in a slight, amused smile. "After all these years, you just might be the first person who hasn't asked where we're going."

The Polar Express has always been known for bringing children on a round-trip to the North Pole once a year, but little do most people know that it never truly stops its course. When the holidays are over, the outcasts of the world find themselves aboard its mysterious tracks, on their way to rekindle their purpose by embarking on a journey to the North Pole. Elaine, a homeless woman stripped of everything she held dear, finds herself on an adventure like no other full of friendship, discovery, and love. Can a mystical train help guide her like it did for the children in need of faith? Or will things simply go back to the way they were before when it's all over?
