All of this while she finds herself catching feelings for Chris; and he, her. McKayla begins to wonder if running away from her problems is the best solution, even if it means leaving the one she loves behind. Because running away from him, just might be the only thing that keeps him safe.

Sadie is just a bit...different, and Chris is the perfect example for her to show that being different is an okay and good thing. When tragedy strikes, Chris is immediately there for Melanie and Sadie and instantly knows how to comfort them. With being so close to Melanie this often now, Chris begins to realize that maybe, after all these years, he might have been looking at her the wrong way, and feelings may be starting to develop. Could Melanie be the one for him after all?
