Chosen: Dead City
Rumors have been flying ever since a group of scientist in the Feet City who were capable on the unsuccessful attempt of the nuclear experimentation. Due to the corrupted experiment, unexpectedly it leads to a nuclear breakage which causes the ejection of harmful chemicals and results to genetic mutation. Somehow, the genetic mutation generated the abnormal DNA disorder of human beings and caused them to become a flesh eating people. But the thing is that people didn't believe and just ignored the whole conspiracy. They continued their works, daily routine and basis. And there goes a class of Grade 10 Gethsemane students went to school, not expecting a big nuclear explosion that ejected a nuclear smoke and covered the entire campus. After inhaling the smoke, they've lost their consciousness for about two weeks and woke up founding out that their fellow schoolmates were gone. The class of Grade 10 Gethsemane were the only people in the whole campus left alive which confused them so much. Eventually, they believe and concluded that apocalypse is really happening. So they stick together to plan something out from the most feared zombie apocalypse. Society is crumbling. Zombie apocalypse is happening. Once New Orleans became infected with the "Dark flu" everything changed. School became a doctors appointment and adults beame freakishly worried parents. Just as everyone was getting used to the daily checks, the flu suddenly became deadly. But not everyone is staying dead. The group met new people and made new friends, as well as making even more enimies as if them all being stuck with eachother wasn't bad enough. A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. This story was meant to be raw or just as it poured from my head. Spelling and punctuation errors are only to be expected, if the cause you some offence well... that's just the way this story was made.
