Hello all,
Yes, this is a re-write of OFH (from the original author)! It's been a good few years, and my writing has improved significantly, unsurprisingly. While I'm aware many people love OFH, that shit is TRASH lmao, so I'm considering it kinda like a first draft.
Please don't expect this to be completed; while I plan to have fun with this, I'm still not really in this fandom. I'm gonna be honest, TomTord has just been on my mind because I heard a song at work that was used in a really popular TomTord animatic/animation meme and I literally cannot get them out of my head rn.

Thomas' new life began in a metal box lurching through an elevator shaft. Confused, scared and filled with curiosity, he thinks the boys laughing maliciously at him are going to roast him over an open fire and eat him. When that doesn't happen, he's left with too many questions about who he is and where he came from. In his heart, though, he knows that he must become a Runner. A boy who is chosen to run through their prison, a Maze, and find an escape. This is a rewrite of the Maze Runner movies. I don't really know if rewrite is the right word, but I'm using this as an opportunity to practice my writing. It'll follow the structure of the movies with minor adjustments, especially just now in the first one. Later on more adjustments will happen, I think. I also want to include Newt/Thomas in this rewrite as I find the ship cute. My writing is a bit clunky and all-over-the-place but I hope you enjoy :) Please feel free to offer constructive criticism.
