In the heart of Heaven, a cataclysmic chasm erupts, unleashing an army of grotesque demons unlike any seen before. These monstrous parodies of angels, led by the incomprehensible entity known as the Unnamed One, lay waste to the divine realm, overwhelming even the archangels. As Heaven crumbles, a small band of surviving angels, led by Uriel and Zadkiel, make a desperate escape through a hidden gate to the mortal realm.
They arrive on Earth, bearing the heavy burden of their fallen home and the knowledge of the Unnamed One's impending reign of terror. Now exiles in a foreign land, these diminished angels must find a way to survive, warn humanity, and perhaps, against all odds, find a way to fight back against the ultimate evil that threatens to consume all of creation.

Looking deeper in to the past they find out that the eight friends are all descendants of the Nine royal sorcerers of the 1st century that created the main realms they have today, till they also find out that they have to kill an 'undefeateble creature'.
