"Vampires exist!" My four year old self was pressing her tiny hands to her ears so hard they were turning white.
"No they do not you big big bully!" I screamed loudly. This had been going on for a while in the schools playground.
"Yesh they do, and if you not close your window at night they will come in and eat you." They boy with blonde hair in front of me stuck out his tongue and left running. shakily I lowered my hands from my ears the bell sounded letting us know recess was over but I couldn't move. I saw one of the teachers calling me. when I didn't move she made her way to me.
"Katherine, did you not hear the bell sweetie?" Mrs. Lombardi spoke her voice sweet and gentle shaking my head up and down I looked up at her with my big blue eyes.
"Mrs. Lombardi do vampires exist?" My voice shook as I asked her the question. Smirking Mrs. Lombardi crouched down.
"there's no such thing Katherine." With that she grabbed my hand and we began walking to class.

Mrs. Lombardi had been wrong, my four year old self was naïve enough to believe her. There was such thing as vampires and they were cold hearted cruel creatures. They harmed innocent naïve children like me. Until I had enough and decided to become their worst nightmare.
