"No one says that," Kian replied flatly, pushing his glasses up like he was trying to block out the nonsense with sheer logic.
"What? You are so unhinged," Sulien wheezed, laughing so hard he nearly fell out of his chair.
Asael just grinned. "Really, then what do people say?"
"It's an apple a day keeps the doctor away, love," I said, trying-and failing-not to laugh.
"Oh, that's sad," Asael said, his grin softening as he turned to me. "Then I'll never eat another apple again. I want you by my side."
