Seokjin is a famous idol in South Korea-beloved, admired, and untouchable. Jungkook, a fresh graduate eager to carve out a career in journalism, is Seokjin's number one fan. One night, Jungkook is sent to cover a drag race in the streets of Gwaencheon. At 2 a.m., the unexpected happens: Seokjin, caught in a racing car accident, crosses Jungkook's path. But when the situation turns chaotic, Seokjin commandeers Jungkook's car, forcing the young reporter to ride with him as they flee the scene.

To escape the prying eyes of the media, Seokjin takes Jungkook to his private resort in Busan. What begins as an unplanned refuge soon leads to a spontaneous and unforgettable one-night stand. But by morning, Jungkook is gone-vanishing without a trace, leaving Seokjin confused and heartbroken, with no idea who he was or why he disappeared.

Back in Seoul, Jungkook struggles to move on from the night that changed everything, all while juggling his responsibilities as a reporter under the watchful eye of his boss, Yoongi, the CEO of a major news network. Meanwhile, Seokjin is left to deal with the fallout of that night, all while trying to maintain his public image with his protective manager Namjoon, his ever-supportive younger brother Hobi, and his longtime girlfriend, Wendy.

Between love, ambition, and the weight of their own desires, Seokjin and Jungkook are about to learn that running from the past is never as simple as it seems.
